It was a bit of a wet morning for showing at Frome today…..white coats aren’t the best thing to be standing in torrential rain in!
First up was the Cow & calf class, Wessex Claudia took 2nd, Alts Miss Sparkle 3rd – 1st place went to Wessex Brook who we sold as a yearling and has grown into a beautiful cow who went onto win the championship. Its great to see Wessex breeding moving on in new herds and doing well for other breeders

In the yearling heifer class we got 1st and 2nd with Wessex Dakota & Wessex Delightful – who also won 2nd in the pairs class.

In the junior bull class Wessex Darrel won 1st on his first outing from the farm and Wessex Duke got 2nd
